Basic Spring Field Trip
A relaxed, self-guided spring farm visit designed for schools and groups who want learning, fresh air, and room to explore at their own pace.
Hubb’s Farm’s Basic Spring Field Trip is a flexible, self-guided farm visit for schools and organized groups looking for an affordable, outdoor educational experience during the spring season.
This option allows teachers and group leaders to explore the farm at their own pace without a scheduled guided lesson or coordinated rotations. With wide open spaces and a variety of farm attractions, groups can create a visit that best fits their schedule, age group, and learning goals.
Who this field trip is for:
• Traditional public schools
• Private schools and academies
• Preschools (not attending Preschool Day)
• Organized youth groups
Homeschool groups attend on separate specialty days and should not book this event.

What makes this option different:
This is a self-guided experience. Unlike our Premium Field Trips, the Basic Spring Field Trip does not include guided instruction, structured rotations, or coordinated on-farm flow planning. It’s ideal for groups that prefer a simple, relaxed visit.
Important notes:
• This is a group booking event, not open to the general public
• Specialty days (Homeschool Day, Pre-K Day, Special Needs Day) are separate events and require different tickets

Available on select weekdays:
• Tuesdays
• Thursdays
• Fridays
Arrival Window: As early as 10:00 AM
Departure: By 2:00 PM
Specific dates are selected during booking.
Pricing
$14.95 per student/participant
• Teachers and school staff attend free
• Parents and siblings may attend with a paid Parent/Sibling ticket
• Group size has a minimum of 20 paid students/participants

Important Notes
• This is a self-guided visit
• Weather-dependent event — most farm activities operate rain or shine unless conditions become unsafe. Contact Hubb' Farm at 910-564-6709
• Booking requests are reviewed by Hubb’s Farm staff before confirmation
• Groups should plan for at least 2–3 hours to fully enjoy the farm
